The “bars” on your device generally represent the physical strength of the radio wave reaching your antenna from the local mast. It tells you how loud the mast is shouting. However, it tells you nothing about the mast’s capacity to process data.

3. APN Configuration Issues
If you are using a 4G router or an IoT device, the Access Point Name (APN) settings must be exactly correct. If they are wrong, the device will connect to the local cell tower (showing full bars) but the network will refuse to route its internet traffic.
